Meghalaya Police has published a notification for the recruitment of 813 posts of Commandos/ Constables, Mechanics, Signal/ Communication Operators, Drivers, Armours and Bulgers vacancy.Interested eligible candidates may apply for this position in prescribed application format on or before 30 April 2016.All othr recruitment details are given below.

Applicant’s Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria:
Candidates should be Minimum 18 years and maximum 21 years of age as per govt norms.
Education Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination for SL. No.1 & 3,Candidate should have passed 9th class with a valid HMV/ LMV driving licence for Sl. No.2,Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 12th pass qualification for Sl .no.4
Mode of Selection
Candidates are get selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination & Interview.
Salary/Pay Scale
Candidates applying for Posts no.1 to 4 will get pay Rs. 8300-210-9770-EB-270-12200-370 16270 plus other allowances and remaining posts around of Rs. 7700-190-9030-EB-250-11280-340 15020 plus other allowances as per rules.
